ToasterLAB :
FoodTech and AgTech international acceleration program

ToasterLAB is an international acceleration program for companies (startups and SMEs) ofthe FoodTech and AgTech sectors from throughout the world. Its program includes 12 months of training sessions, personalized coaching, and an access to a network of food businesses and mentors in France and abroad. ToasterLAB offers candidates business opportunities, testing and development resources, on demand support, and international development support. 
The acceleration program takes place in two phases:
  • An initial 3-month intensive acceleration phase, with 12 week full day sessions of training, coaching and networking
  • A 9-month post-acceleration phase to work on funding, developing commercial relations, taking part in international missions or innovation projects.

WHO CAN APPLY? - 3 priority topics for the Session #4

As for the Sessions #1 to #3, ToasterLAB is open to any mature (at the proof of concept stage), high potential FoodTech or AgTech start-up or SME, based in France or abroad. Applications are accepted from intrapreneurial teams who can also take part in ToasterLAB’s acceleration program. Applicants from Canada
The Canadian Embassy has partnered with ToasterLAB and Canadian startups wishing to apply may benefit from special conditions. Please contact ToasterLAB for further information. 
Applications corresponding to one or more of the following priority topics will receive a special attention from the selection panel:
1. Agriculture processes:
  • B2B – New models of sustainable agriculture: sustainable, agroecology practices; high-value added, urban market gardening (synergy between traditional agriculture and high-value added agriculture)
  • B2B and B2C – Data analysis and Greendata able to be exploited for the whole of the food business sector
  • B2B – Logistics: goods and services facilitating the logistics of agricultural raw materials facing volume constraints 
2. Innovative manufacturing/consuming:
  • B2B – bioprocesses, alternative proteins, new ingredients, new food processes
  • B2C– from food to personalized nutrition: goods and services for a targeted nutritional impact 
  • B2C – Home Farming : new solutions for home farming
3. Reinventing the connection between the links of the value chain:
  • Services to provide consumers with a higher level of traceability (origin of the goods) and of the various steps of food manufacturing? 


  • Applications open: May 2nd, 2018
  • Applications close: June 6th, 2018
  • Confirmation to finalists : From June 27th, 2018
  • Selection day: 9-10 July, 2018 
  • Acceleration start date: September 18th, 2018
